Founder of unblind.ai · E-commerce & AI Director
François-Olivier Hoizey
E-commerce & AI Director at a group of premium brands since 2021, publisher of websites with several hundred thousand visitors per month since 2006, founder of unblind.ai.
François-Olivier Hoizey practices SEO on both sides of the fence: as the publisher of high-traffic content websites, and as an e-commerce executive responsible for online revenue. This dual experience is what shapes the editorial line of the unblind guides: traffic only has value if it serves the business.
E-commerce & AI Director at a group of premium brands
Since 2014, he has worked at Fremaux Delorme, a French group in high-end home and bed linen. An e-marketing UX and UI manager for seven years, he has led the group's e-commerce since 2021 as E-commerce & AI Director and a member of the executive committee.
He drives the online strategy and the roadmap for the group's brand websites, including Yves Delorme, Laurence Tavernier, Olivier Desforges and Christian Fischbacher, as well as the e-merchandising, web design, marketplaces, traffic acquisition and web technology teams. The group sells in France and internationally (United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland).
He also led the deployment of artificial intelligence across the company: choosing tools, training 200 employees across six sites, introducing AI agent-assisted development in the engineering team, and deploying AI-assisted business reporting tools.
Publisher of high-traffic websites since 2006
Alongside this, he has created and optimized around fifteen personal websites, three of which are still active:
- Unjourunerecette.fr (since 2014): 5,000 tested recipes, 63,000 members and up to 1.2 million visitors per month.
- niceTrotter.fr (since 2006): an independent guide to the city of Nice, ranking in search for twenty years.
- clickMiam.fr (since 2024): a recipe engine built from the ingredients you have on hand, millions of recipes and automated curation pipelines.
Twenty years of editorial SEO have taught him what an article does well (attract an audience, build a brand) and what it does badly (sell).
Founder of unblind.ai
In 2025, he founded unblind.ai to automate the work he saw being done by hand, page by page, in e-commerce teams: analyzing the search intent of every category page and every facet, then writing the matching title tags, meta descriptions, H1s and SEO copy, at the scale of catalogs with several thousand URLs.
The principle guiding his approach to e-commerce SEO comes down to one question to ask for every page you create or optimize:
Would I be willing to pay for advertising to bring people to this page?
If the answer is no, the page rarely deserves the SEO effort you are about to devote to it.
His role in the unblind guides
The guides are written by the unblind team. François-Olivier Hoizey defines their angles, contributes field experience and validates the recommendations before publication.
